THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – February 9, 2015 – Vaquero Midstream, LLC (“Vaquero”) today announced the addition of Brian W. Best as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Best brings a unique combination of expertise to Vaquero, having years of experience in business development as well as engineering and finance. Best will lead Vaquero’s commercial activities, bringing value to producers and to the Vaquero team.

He understands many sides of potential projects and what it takes to make a project work successfully for all parties involved.”
Most recently prior to joining Vaquero, Best served as Vice President of Commercial and Business Development for J-W Midstream Company, a subsidiary of J-W Energy Company, where he managed the company’s business in the Haynesville and Barnett shale regions, including commercial activities, accounting and operations. Best worked in various roles during his tenure at J-W, including third party business development, pipeline commercial operations, acquisitions and divestitures, new project expansions, capital planning and banking and finance management.
Best has served as a board member on the Texas Pipeline Association, is a member of NESA, IPAA and the Dallas Petroleum Club. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Texas Christian University and a Masters of business administration from Southern Methodist University. Best will be based primarily out of Vaquero’s Dallas office.
